The Ballyhaunis Language Café received the Social Inclusion Award at the Second Annual Cathaoirleachs Awards hosted by Mayo County Council on March 2, 2023.
Over 18 nominations were listed in the category.
"Thanks to everyone in the Language Café who has made our group such an enjoyable exercise in community inclusion and friendship," says Mark Godfrey. "Thanks to Ballyhaunis Community Council for nominating the group and to all who help us," added Merrilyn Finn.
